On August 9, 2025, Cui Yu, Director of the Technology Center of XD Group, was invited to Dalian North Instrument Transformer Group (NORIT) to deliver a special training session on the application of 40.5kV and 10kV switchgear for key staff from the sales, technical and customer service teams. The Hunan Branch joined the training online simultaneously.

Centered on practical engineering applications, the training focused on key switchgear technologies to help frontline personnel solve practical work challenges. Director Cui Yu highlighted the core advantages of one-key sequence control technology, which has realized the transformation of switching operations from manual step-by-step execution to remote automatic control, greatly improving efficiency and reducing operational risks in line with State Grid’s intelligent operation and maintenance standards. He also shared in detail XD Group’s technological breakthroughs in the KYN61-40.5 switchgear model, including fully automatic electric propulsion of circuit breakers and operation priority management of earthing switches. In addition, the training covered switchgear structure, classification and five-prevention interlocking mechanism, with analysis on the pros and cons of various switchgear types based on real application scenarios. During the interactive session, participants raised active questions, and Director Cui provided clear solutions to practical problems concerning the coordination of switchgear with transformers, circuit breakers and other components.
The training has deepened NORIT’s technical understanding of switchgear, providing strong support for component design, process coordination and market response. Going forward, NORIT will continue to strengthen technical cooperation with XD Group, organize more exchange activities, continuously enhance team professionalism, and promote the high-quality development of the group.
