On July 25, Dalian North Arrestor Co., Ltd. recently officially launched its lean production project, marking a new phase in the company’s production management. This initiative not only embodies the practice of lean concepts but also serves as a key measure to pursue high-quality development, laying a solid foundation for systematic cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and enhanced core competitiveness.

Prior to the project launch, the company invited practical experts to provide training for the lean management team and core backbones. Combining the company’s actual operations, all team members conducted on-site observations, collected data, and held in-depth discussions to draw a current-state value stream map, clearly identifying process pain points and improvement opportunities.
Based on an in-depth analysis of the current situation, all team members collaborated to develop a future-state value stream map by pooling their wisdom. This map defines the goals of process optimization, key implementation paths, and core objectives—including shortening production cycles, improving response speed, and ensuring stable product quality.
Guided by the future-state value stream map, the project team identified six key improvement projects, covering production plan optimization, equipment efficiency enhancement, and quality management strengthening. Project leaders were appointed for each initiative, with clear objectives, milestone nodes, and timelines established, signaling the entry of the lean transformation into a critical implementation phase.
Chen Shumin, General Manager of the company, emphasized that lean management is not an option but a necessity for the enterprise’s survival and development. All employees must work together, integrate lean concepts into daily operations, and make breakthroughs in their respective fields to enhance operational efficiency and comprehensive strength, driving high-quality development through lean practices.
